Meet Hannah Marie Diaz, Esq.

Welcome to HD Counsel!

My name is Hannah Diaz and I am a licensed Florida attorney. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, and upon graduating, I worked as a claims adjuster for one of the nation's largest insurance companies. I saw first-hand how insurance companies treat their own customers, and how frustrating and confusing it can be for them. This prompted me to become an attorney.

I received my Juris Doctor Degree from Barry University School of Law. While in law school, I was a full-time paralegal and office manager, the Managing Editor of the Environmental and Earth Law Journal, completed the Environmental and Earth Law Clinic, and received a book award for the highest grade in Mediation.

I am a member of the Florida Bar, an editor for the Florida Bar News/Journal Editorial Board, a published author in the Florida Coastal Law Journal, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, a licensed Notary Public, and a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, which provides recognition to distinguished plaintiff attorneys for their superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership.

I have devoted my legal practice to helping people - not the powerful. I have resolved thousands of claims and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of claimants throughout the State of Florida. A strong, yet fair approach in litigation is essential in obtaining justice against insurance giants.
